Aircraft Handler (m/f/d)

Overview

For a company providing aircraft handling and baggage handling at Frankfurt am Main Airport, we are looking for full-time loaders (m/f/d) with a valid aviation security background check (Zu­ver­läs­sig­keits­über­prü­fung).

The assignment is open-ended.

You will work in a 2-shift system from Monday to Sunday.

Your tasks

• Loading and unloading aircraft according to instructions, with suitcases, cargo and dangerous goods
• Loading and unloading baggage carts and containers
• Properly securing various types of baggage as well as cargo
• Transporting baggage, cargo and dangerous goods between the aircraft and the baggage halls
• Providing equipment (containers, dollies, baggage carts, etc.) and tidying up before and after aircraft handling
• Securing walkways during walk boarding and walk deboarding
• With an apron driving permit (Vor­feld­füh­rer­schein, VFS): operating and providing handling equipment and vehicles

What you bring

• Professional experience
• Aviation security background check (Zu­ver­läs­sig­keits­über­prü­fung, ZÜP)
• Class B driving licence
• Good German language skills
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system, including weekends
• An advantage: professional experience as a handler (m/f/d)
• An advantage: apron driving permit (Vor­feld­füh­rer­schein, VFS)

What you can expect

• Shift times: earliest shift start 3:30 a.m., latest shift end 11:30 p.m.
